Emiliano Monge, born in Mexico in 1978, is the author of six novels, two collections of short stories, and a work of children’s literature. An alumnus of the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México with a degree in Political Science, Monge contributes regularly to El País, where he writes “Letras Americanas,” a column devoted to tracing the coordinates of contemporary Latin American literature. His most recent work, Right Before the End (Justo antes del final), released in August 2022. He lives in Mexico City.
