Andrés Alfaro (1984) is a musician, poet and translator from Iowa City, Iowa. In 2012, he earned an MFA in literary translation from the University of Iowa. In the sphere of translation, he gravitates toward Costa Rican literature by Felipe Granados, Carmen Naranjo, and Alexánder Obando, among others. He currently resides in Iowa City.
