Shuhwa Shirley Wu was born in Changhua, Taiwan. She currently works in the field of translation studies at the University of Queensland. Her research interests include literature and translation studies. Wu published her studies on Taiwanese Aboriginal literature Writing to Find the Way Home in 2013. Later her translation published in 2014. She co-translated The Anthology of Taiwanese Indigenous Literature: Poetry and Prose and The Anthology of Taiwanese Indigenous Literature: Short Stories I (2015). In 2019, she completed a translation project on selected poems by Prof Lin Ruiming.
