About Danielle Michel-Chich

Danielle Michel-Chich is a journalist, translator, and the author of several books including Lettre à Zohra D. (2012) and Déracinés: Les Pieds-Noirs aujourd’hui (1990). She was born in 1951 in French colonial Algeria and survived the infamous Milk Bar Bombing in Algiers in 1956. Her most recent book, Je est une autre (2020), is a novel about a woman who pretends to be a terrorism victim in France.
