Sean Manning has translated numerous works including Eduardo Lalo’s The Elements, Azahara Palomeque’s American Poems, and Carlos Pereda’s Lessons in Exile. He also co-edited No dicen nada, cantan, an anthology of poetry by the late Uruguayan poet Enrique Fierro set to be published this year by Mexico’s Fondo de Cultura Económica. He received his PhD in Spanish and Latin American Literature from the University of Texas at Austin, where he is currently a Lecturer teaching courses on language, literature, and writing.
