Enrique S. Villasis was born and raised in Milagros, Masbate. He finished BS Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology. He has won multiple prize from the Don Carlos Palanca Awards (2011, 2012, 2013) and the Maningning Miclat Award (2011). He is an active member of Linangan sa Imahen, Retorika, at Anyo (LIRA).
