About Bradley Harmon

Bradley Harmon (b. 1994) is a writer, scholar and translator specializing in German and Scandinavian literature, philosophy, and film. His translations have appeared in Poetry, Chicago Review, Cincinnati Review, Astra Magazine, Firmament, Tupelo Quarterly, and Swedish Book Review, among others. In 2021 he was invited to attend the Översättargruvan translation workshop in Sweden, and in 2022 he was selected as an ALTA emerging translator fellow. He is currently a PhD student at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, where he is working on a dissertation on the intersections of modernity and the poetics and politics of breathing in German and Nordic literature.
