Iana Boukova is a Bulgarian poet, writer, and translator. She is the author of the poetry books Diocletian’s Palaces, Boat in the Eye, and Notes of the Phantom Woman, the short story collections A as in Аnything and Tales With No Return, and the novel Traveling in the Direction of the Shadow. Her work has appeared in Words Without Borders, Best European Fiction, Two Lines, and Absinthe. She lives between Sofia and Athens, where she is a member of the platform Greek Poetry Now and editor on the board of FRMK, a journal for poetry, poetics, and visual arts.
