Mariko Kishi-Debski is a postgraduate student at the University of Queensland. She is currently studying a Master of Arts in Japanese Interpreting and Translation, having previously completed a Bachelor of International Studies, majoring in Japanese and International Relations. Her current research includes assisting with editing and compiling essays on the topic of “Youth and Democracy in Post-war Japan.”
