Leonard Muellner is Professor Emeritus of Classical Studies at Brandeis University, and Chair of the editorial committee at the Center for Hellenic Studies. He is author of Homeric EUXOMAI through Its Formulas (1974), The Anger of Achilles: Mēnis in Greek Epic (1994) and various articles on Homeric poetry and Greek myth, including “The Simile of the Cranes and Pygmies: A Study of Homeric Metaphor” and “Grieving Achilles.” He is Associate Editor of the Homer Multitext.
