Turkoslavia is an online journal of literary translation edited by the members of the Turkoslavia translators collective  Sabrina Jaszi and Ena Selimović.

Launched in 2022 with founding member Mirgul Kali in collaboration with Exchanges at the University of Iowa, the journal is dedicated to publishing translations from Turkic and Slavic languages, loosely defined. The poetry and prose featured here stages the work of brilliant but often underrepresented authors writing in lesser-translated languages.

We welcome generically diverse work that challenges the nationalized borders through which we think about literature today, and instead thinks creatively about these languages' many overlapping traits and histories.
