About Patience Haggin

Patience Haggin is a literary translator of French and Italian. Her translations have been published by The Massachusetts Review, Ezra, Two Lines, Circumference, Asymptote, The Nassau Literary Review, and Dalkey Archive Press. She studied literary translation in Naples, Italy on a Fulbright Scholarship. Her work has been honored with Princeton University’s Robert and Lynne Fagles Prize for translation, grant funding from Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and residencies at La Macina di San Cresci, the Collège International des Traducteurs Littéraires and Biblioteche di Roma’s Casa delle Traduzioni.
