About Max Lobe

Max Lobe is a Cameroonian writer living in Geneva, Switzerland. He is the author of the novel 39 Rue de Berne (Editions Zoé, 2013), which received the 2014 Roman des Romands Prize and a number of short stories including "Le Baccalauréat," which won the 2009 Sorge literary prize awarded by the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His work covers a variety of compelling socio-cultural themes, most notably those of illegal immigration and sexual identity in traditional societies.
