Catherine Nelson specializes in contemporary Spanish literature, with special interest in the short story, women’s fiction, and literature of memory. Her translations have been published by Indiana Review, InTranslation, and AmazonCrossing. Nelson is Chair of the Modern Language Department and Associate Professor at Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she teaches language, literature, writing, and translation.
