About Dov Greenwood

Dov Greenwood is a graduate of Yale college, where he majored in Humanities. There, he wrote his senior thesis on the relationship between modern Jewish translations of and commentaries on the Torah and their reciprocal relationship with Jewish religious identity. Dov is a translator of ancient and modern Hebrew, as well as Yiddish. He has had a life-long love for the book of Genesis, and has spent several years translating (and discarding translations of) the book. He currently works as a software engineer, though he hopes to return to graduate school to study Jewish history and literature.
