Pinyu Hwang is a student at Yale University. She majors in computer science and takes classes in linguistics and translation. Her translations of contemporary Taiwanese writers have been published in AzonaL and featured in Asymptote blog. She is also involved in the Journal of Literary Translation on campus. She is fond of desserts, crafts, tea, stories, and language.
