Umair Kazi is a lawyer, writer, and translator. He received his JD from University of Iowa College of Law and his MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University School of the Arts. His translations of Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz have appeared in Pleiades, Inventory, InTranslation, and Circumference.
