About Mikhail Fyodorovich Yeryomin

Mikhail Fyodorovich Yeryomin [Михаил Федорович Ерёмин] was born in 1936 in the northern Caucasus but grew up in Leningrad, where he graduated from the Herzen Institute. The first volume of his poems (in Russian) was published in the United States in 1986, and then in 1991 in Moscow. Each book is a cumulative edition to and a selection from his previous work, and each carries the same title: Stikhotvorenia (Poems).

Yeryomin, who has been awarded both the Andrey Bely Prize and a Joseph Brodsky Memorial Fellowship, lives in St. Petersburg.
