Dr. Yuemin He is a writer, a translator, and an editor. Her writings appear in The Emergence of Buddhist American Literature, Religion and Arts, Chinese Translators Journal, Inquiry, Yuan Yang: A Journal of Hong Kong and International Writing, The Northern Virginia Review, and Cha: An Asian Literary Journal. Her essay “Bundle the Anthology: Teaching Asian North American Literature in a Community College Classroom” is forthcoming in Teaching Approaches to Asian American Literature (MLA). Her poetry translations have been anthologized in Oxford Anthology of Modern and Contemporary American Poetry (2nd ed., 2015) and have appeared in Metamorphoses, Ezra, The Northern Virginia Review, The Cincinnati Review, 91st Meridian, and other sites. She is currently an English professor at Northern Virginia Community College.
