Alex Halatsis is a master’s student in the translation program at Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, working in English, Spanish and French. From 2014 to 2020 he lived in Madrid, Spain, where he taught English classes to children and adults. He has translated websites in the entertainment and fashion industries and his literary translations have been published in the journal Latin American Literature Today. His Spanish writing has appeared in the Madrid-based literary zine Pájaro Azul. He now lives in the Bay Area.
