Emma Pauly (they/she) is a freelance dramaturg, independent scholar, and translator based in Chicago, IL. Their recent projects include a translation of Bacchae centered in a non-binary/queer/GNC reading of the text (staged at the University of Chicago’s Rhetoric and Poetics Workshop), as well as serving as dramaturg for Reading Greek Tragedy Online, a partnership between Out of Chaos Theatre and the Center for Hellenic Studies.
