Claudia González Caparrós was born in A Coruña, Spain in 1993. She holds a degree in Literary Studies from the University of Barcelona, an MA in Art History from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and an MA in Hispanic Literatures from Indiana University. Her first poetry collection Si la carne es hierba (Sully Morland), published by La Bella Varsovia in 2015, won 2nd prize at the VIII “Pablo García Baena” Young Poet Awards. Her second poetry collection, te miro como quien asiste a un deshielo, was published by La Bella Varsovia in 2018. She is also a professor and co-founder of crisi in Barcelona, a space for seminars and workshops on philosophy, literature, feminism, film, art, and science.
