About Diana Manole

Diana Manole is a Romanian-born Pushcart prize nominee and winner of the 2020 Very Small Verse Contest organized by the League of Canadian Poets. In addition to nine books published in Romania, she has also translated or co-translated six poetry collections and earned second prize in the 2017/18 John Dryden Translation Competition. She holds a doctorate from the University of Toronto and teaches theatre, literature, and creative writing at universities in Canada. Diana’s seventh collection of poems, Praying to a Landed-Immigrant God, is forthcoming from Grey Borders Books in 2020.
