Kanya Kanchana is a poet, writer, and translator from Kerala, India. Her writing has appeared in Asymptote, Paper Darts, TrinityJoLT, and The Common. Her translations have appeared in Asymptote, Waxwing, Circumference, Aldus, and Muse India. She is a recipient of the baseCollective Residency Scholarship 2018 for arts-based philosophy and research. A native speaker of Tamil and Malayalam and a student of Sanskrit, Kanya is also an itinerant practitioner/teacher of yoga.
