About Cecelia Ramsey

Cecelia Ramsey is passionate about bringing powerful voices to new cultures through translation. Interested in literary criticism and translation theory, she completed her Master of Arts in Literary Translation: French-English at New York University where she has presented her work on punctuation in translation. She received her Bachelors of Arts in French, English Literature, and History from Lipscomb University in Nashville, TN. Her recent publications include “Writing in a Dominated Land” by Patrick Chamoiseau in Asymptote (Summer 2016) and Animal Atlas by Emmanuelle Tchoukriel (SourceBooks, 2016).
