For Exchanges, Thomas Simpson has translated short stories by Ermanno Cavazzoni and Edoardo Albinati. He has also translated from Italian numerous works of contemporary theater, and, in collaboration with Rita Filanti, has translated poems by Philip Levine and Larry Levis into Italian.
