Elettra Pauletto is a writer and translator currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing at Columbia University. She has worked and traveled extensively throughout West Africa, where she developed an interest in the region’s literature, culture and politics. Her translations and works of nonfiction have appeared in Guernica, the Iowa City Press-Citizen, River Teeth and The Montreal Review. She currently resides in New York City.
