Jeffrey C. Barnett is Professor of Romance Languages and serves as the Latin American and Caribbean Studies Program Head at Washington and Lee University, where he teaches courses on Spanish-American culture, literature, and literary translation. His book length translations include The Memory of Silence by novelist Uva de Aragón (2014) and Flocks by the poet Zurelys López Amaya (forthcoming), both published by Cubanabooks.
