Ross Weissman was born and raised in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and has since explored a range of professional environments. He has worked in the ICU of a level-one trauma hospital, the hay shed of a dairy farm, the open tundra, and a toddler room at a preschool. Most recently, Ross trained and studied parrots with the Alex Foundation. He holds a master’s of education from Harvard and is an alumnus of the Conservative Yeshiva and Yeshivat Hadar. This past spring, he was a visiting scholar at Skidmore College Hillel and taught a co-curricular series on Jewish thought and Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is a published poet and aspiring children’s author.
